The biggest drift championship in Eastern Europe, held on June 25th and 26th around the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest brought no less than 65 professional pilots from Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine and Poland to the start line, their cars totalling over 30,000 horsepower.
The second stage of the Championship was the longest route in the history of this sport in Romania, 1.1 kilometres, and the drifting masters performed controlled tandem drifts, even at speeds of 160 km per hour.
On Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM, free training took place, and on Sunday the one on one duels established the new champion.
Understanding the organiser’s complexity and needs, the Five’s team ensured all the facilities needed to successfully implement the plan of the event: to cover all the areas of the competition and spectators with sound, the video images were available both in the circuit areas and in the relaxation areas specially arranged for the audience.
