The ground support tower FD34 makes for an excellent vertical truss that allows the safe, quick lifting regularly loaded horizontal truss constructions (riggs) and small to medium-sized platform roofs to their service height. The straight elements of the tower consist of FD34 Standard Truss, allowing a variety of combinations. This system is compatible with the type FD34 Basement (Touring, Professional and Small Base), Hinge Section, Sleeveblock and the Top Section. Depending on the area of application, several different sleeveblocks are available making it possible to incorporate several different systems. Two different top sections are supplied for manual or electrical chain hoist. Three different designed basements guarantee optimum stability. In terms of statics, ground support towers, in indoor applications, are exposed to negligible flexural strain but primarily to pressure strain. In outdoor use, on the other hand, the tower is exposed to very high flexural strain due to the coverings or roof.

This system is compatible with the type FD44 Basement (Professional Base), Hinge Section, Sleeveblock and the Top Section. Since this tower was specifically designed for high-load riggs and large-sized platform roofs, the variability of its sleeveblocks, basements and top sections is logically limited to these special-purpose applications. In terms of statics, the FD44 ground support tower is designed for a higher flexural strain and pressure strain than the FD34 Tower. Especially the FD44 tower is exposed to very high flexural strain due to the coverings or roof. Besides these specifications both towers attain the same performance as far as load cases are concerned.

The TD44 Tower makes for an excellent vertical truss that allows the safe, quick lifting, regularly loaded horizontal Heavy Duty Truss Rig and XT Roofs to their service height.

Next to the standard Tower parts Eurotruss can supply you with additional tower accessories, which can be demanded for different usage. For stability reasons we carry three different outriggers: On the Professional Base you can mount the short or long outrigger to get more stability on the ground basement.
For a normal tower or leg you can also use the heavy-duty outrigger that will be put on the ground and fixed to the tower or leg with stabilizer couplers. To obtain more stability in the rig itself we have developed the bold-on-cornerbraces in different lengths, KCKC-70cm, 140cm and 200cm.
