The Chinese Confetti Sparkburst is a cross between the current Chinese Confetti Airburst and the 15ft Sparkburst.

 

The device projects Chinese Confetti to a diameter of approximately 18–20ft whilst at the same time produces a burst of silver branching sparks with a slight sizzling noise to add to the effect.

The Flitter Starburst is a Starburst which produces a flash of light and a burst of flitter effect stars in all directions to a diameter of 18 to 22ft.

ProStage II has led in the production of ready to use airbursts and offers an enormous selection. Airbursts come both singly or in a three drop harness.

  

  • ProStage II Airbursts have the added advantage of a three year shelf life as opposed to the Mix Yourself variety which has to be used within a few days.
  • Airbursts are designed to be suspended in a lighting truss that is at least 6 (small airburst) to 8 (large airburst) metres above the ground.
  • They produce a ball shaped flash that is cool before reaching the lower levels or stage floor. There is very little smoke.
  • Available in White, Silver, Silver Glitter, Gold and Gold Glitter - in Small, Medium, Large and Loud Report.
  • Airbursts can be ordered in boxes of 12 singles or in 3 drop harnesses.

Also known as Split Mines or Flash Curtains, this effect is in a 6” long tube that has a split along its length covered by a thin paper membrane.
Flash tubes can be attached to the floor for a spectacular fan shaped effect that reaches approximately 4.5 metres, or flown for a downward curtain effect.

Flash Reports are preloaded concussions used in conjunction with a concussion pot to produce an extremely loud bang.

They are made out of paper, so there is no dangerous shrapnel.

ProStage II Tricoloured Mines and Bicoloured Mines propel a massive shower of shimmering coloured stars to a height of 30ft. The effect produced from this mine is up to your choice.

  

  • You can choose any TWO colours from the existing range, i.e. Amber, Blue, Crackle, Flitter, Green, Glitter, Orange, Red, Shimmer, Silver, White, Yellow, Amber & Tail, Green & Tail, Orange & Tail, Red & Tail and Yellow & Tail. In addition, a Red, White and Blue Mine (Tricoloured) is also available.
  • These Multi Coloured Mines are sold under the single product code PP529, so you MUST specify your choice of colours when ordering them. We will stock the Red, White and Blue Mines, but not the Bicoloured Mines, which will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks to make from receiving the order.

The Micro Mine is a mini version of the Prostage II Stage Mine, and the smallest effect available in the range. It is particularly suitable for small venues or those with a lower ceiling height.

  

The Micro Mine propels a shower of shimmering coloured stars to a height of approximately 3 to 4 metres.

The ProStage II Stage Mine propels a fantastic shower of shimmering colored stars with or without a silver tail. Minimal noise, but some smoke.

  

  • Stage Mines are made in two sizes: a Small Mine (reaching a height of approximately 20ft or 6m), and a Medium Mine (reaching a height of approximately 50ft or 15m).
  • Please note that a new type of 20ft Mine based on the same design as the 25/30ft Mine Family is now available. The effect produced is a tighter, more even effect. Our new 20ft Mines are also much cheaper; the reason being that it costs less to make the stars.

Similar to giant sparklers, ice fountains produce a small flare and a spray of sparks for 50 to 55 seconds.

Smoke Pellets:

When ignited (with a naked flame or with touch paper), our small white pellets burn for 30 to 40 seconds, producing a similar smoke effect to the 5-second White Smoke.

Smoke pellets are sold in 10s and 100s.

  

Touch Paper:

Touch Paper burns slowly, and is used as a match for firing our smoke pellets, and the like, with one of our igniters.

Each sheet measures 10.5cm x 5cm.

Touch Paper is available in packets of 100 sheets.


Wax Torch:

The Wax Torch is a hand-held Olympic Torch effect. Ideal for processions or outdoor concerts, its burn time is approximately 2 hours (ignited with a naked flame).

Le Maitre are the official European dealers for 'The Dragons'... the amazing gas system designed and manufactured by Pyrotek in Canada.

The Dragons can produce a spectacular flame effect of up to 50ft in height. This system has been used successfully throughout the United States and on many tours in Europe and the UK.

 

Le Maitre now own a number of double headed Dragon systems which have been seen on recent tours such as Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Britney Spears. They can be hired with an operator for indoor and outdoor venues or can be purchased exclusively through Le Maitre for tours or permanent installations.

Le Maitre’s new Flame Gel is a flammable gel that can be applied to surfaces. It burns with an even orange flame and a small amount of gel burns for a surprisingly long time. The gel has the consistency of thick custard and looks similar to wallpaper paste which makes it virtually invisible when applied.

  

  • The gel can be used anywhere a small controllable flame is needed. The gel is safe for use inside in moderation with sensible control methods in place.
  • A test in a controlled environment should be carried out prior to use and a risk assessment should be conducted.
  • This gel can be used on stage to simulate a camp fire without the use of flammable liquids or gas.
  • Flame Gel is best extinguished by smothering the container and starving the gel of oxygen. The flame can be extinguished by blowing the flame out, however the greater the burning surface area, the more difficult it becomes. To give an example of the burn rate, 200ml of gel was placed in a round container 75mm in diameter, the gel was lit and it burnt for 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Le Maitre Flame Gel is supplied in buckets of 2.5 litres.

  • It's a 50mm long tube, about 17mm diameter, has a fitted igniter and, when fired, produces a stream of white coloured smoke for around 5 seconds.

Also known as Grid Rockets, these are small whistling rockets that run along a steel cable. The cable must be securely fastened at each end, and is usually up to 50 metres in length.

 

The Line Rocket is attached to the line by a plastic tube, and takes between 2 and 4 seconds to travel the 50 metres.

4oz and 8oz Gerbs are the largest of the Stage Gerbs in the ProStage II range.

The plume of sparks is wider than that of normal gerbs, producing more of a Christmas Tree shape.

This means that there will be hot fallout associated with these effects and they are recommended for use in large venues only.

ProStage Holders are available for use with these gerbs.

  

  • The 4oz Gerb is a 1" Stage Gerb fired by 600mm wires. It produces a dramatic spray of sparks to a height of approx 4.5 metres, for a duration of 25 to 30 seconds.
  • Available in Gold, Silver, Colour Change (from gold to silver), Flitter and Shimmer.
  • The 8oz Gerb is a 1.5" Stage Gerb fired by 600mm wires. It produces a dramatic spray of sparks to a height of approx 6 metres, for a duration of 25 to 30 seconds.

There are 6 different holders in this range, designed for floor or truss mount. Each holder comes in 2 sizes; 18mm or 25mm.

  

  • 90 degree Gerb Holder - for floor mount.

The ProStage II range of professional Stage Gerbs are identified by the burn time (first number) x the height in feet (second number).

  

  • For example: a 1/4 x 20 is a gerb of 1/4 of a second duration that reaches a height of 20ft. Heights are also given in metres (the height of a gerb is defined as the height to the top of the main plume, some sparks will go higher).
  • Please note that the red caps are no longer fitted or supplied with our Stage Gerbs. If required, these can be sent out at no additional charge at the time of placing the order. However, should these red caps be needed without the Stage Gerbs, they are available to purchase.

The silver cascade is a similar effect to the waterfall but with a denser effect. They only need to be positioned 7.5cm apart to create a much fuller effect than our waterfall.

  

  • Please note that the red caps are no longer supplied or fitted with the cascades.

Waterfalls are a speciality of ProStage II. Traditionally there have been 2 types of waterfall. An inverted gerb giving a rushing effect, or the archetypal waterfall with a large choke producing a liquid water effect but with a huge amount of very hot fallout hitting the floor.

  

  • ProStage II Waterfalls use a new type of choke that gives the best of both effects without the tubes catching fire.
  • A minimum drop of 7.5 metres (25ft) is required for this effect.
  • For large venues only.
  • Available in: 15 x 15 Waterfall, 20 x 20 Waterfall and 10 x 8 Waterfall.

  A small report is followed by a thick plume of very dense smoke. The Large Coloured Smoke produces more smoke over a longer duration than the Medium. To be used with the standard flash pod.  

  • The Medium Coloured Smoke is available in white, red, blue, yellow, green, orange and violet. 
  • All colours contain a dye, so care must be taken when positioning smokes near scenery, drapes etc. 
  • The Large Coloured Smoke is available in all the colours.
