Bucharest Christmas Market takes place every year in the University Square, on the esplanade flanked by statues and aims to take visitors into the atmosphere of the most important Christmas fairs in Europe. Apart from the fair itself, performances by folklore ensembles, groups of carol singers and famous bands (Smiley, Directia 5, Loredana, Marcel Pavel, Pepe, Proconsul, Delia, etc.) took place on the stage placed in the University Square.
Fives has ensured the whole technical part at this event, proposing the Eurotruss Roof System 12x10 m Tunnelroof Transparent stage, provided with lighting, sound and video equipment, as well as the architectural lighting in the Square, with SGM lights, or ensuring the electricity supply of all gift shops at the fair. Taking into account the fact that the event takes place outdoors during winter, the technical solution proposed for lighting consisted in the SGM devices, which are weather and dustproof (IP 65).
Target Audience
Bucharest Christmas Market is free entry event, intended for all audiences. The 2015 edition was visited by more than 100,000 people between November 27th and December 27th.
