The musical “Romeo and Juliet”, based on the famous love story written by Shakespeare, premiered at the “National Operetta and Musical Theatre “Ion Dacian” in 2009. The show was done in collaboration with the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre and is directed by the manager of this institution, being a technically modern and ingenious adaptation. Five’s was in charge with the sound systems, the light show, special effects and the staging setup, the show using two hatches and two turntables that move ingeniously, making the show more dynamic.
Target Audience
The show was a success, being staged since 2009 until 2015, addressing the opera and operetta loving audience. “Romeo and Juliet” was part of the repertoire of the Operetta Theatre in the tournaments across the country, thus being accessible to the public from several cities.
